🌟 Resilience Leads the Way in Today’s School Assembly
In today’s morning assembly across several schools in India, the spotlight was on a powerful theme that resonates with learners of all ages – resilience.
The Word of the Day, “Resilience,” was introduced to students as a key life skill. Teachers explained its meaning: “The ability to recover quickly from difficulties; toughness.” Students were encouraged to reflect on how resilience helps them overcome challenges in studies, friendships, and personal growth.
Adding strength to the theme, the Thought for the Day was a timeless quote by Winston Churchill:
“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts.”
Morning assembly speakers highlighted how this quote encourages students not to fear failure or get overconfident in success, but to remain steady and courageous on their journey.
Educators across schools used this opportunity to inspire discussions about real-life role models who showed resilience – such as athletes, scientists, and even classmates who keep striving despite setbacks.
Assemblies ended with students making a silent personal pledge: “I will be strong. I will rise again. I will grow through what I go through.”

📚 From Street Vendor to NEET Achiever: Jamshedpur Boy Scripts Success Story
Jamshedpur – In a heartwarming tale of grit and determination, Rohit Kumar, a young boy from Sakchi, Jamshedpur, has defied all odds to clear the prestigious NEET-UG 2025 examination, securing an impressive 549 marks and an All-India Rank of 12,484.
What makes Rohit’s achievement extraordinary is his background – not as a student from a coaching hub, but as a youth who earned his living by selling mobile phone covers on the streets during the day, and studied late into the night chasing his dream of becoming a doctor.
From Night Classes to National Ranking
In 2024, Rohit appeared for NEET for the first time and scored 485 marks through self-study using YouTube tutorials. Undeterred by the result, he joined the popular “Yakeen 2.0” online coaching batch by Physics Wallah. With a disciplined schedule of 14 hours of daily study, Rohit balanced work and academics with remarkable focus.
Support & Sacrifice
Rohit’s elder brother played a crucial role in supporting the household and encouraging his studies. Despite financial challenges, his family stood firmly by him. Rohit attributes his success to his brother, his online mentors, and his unwavering faith in education.
Dreams Don’t Require Comfort – Just Courage, Says Rohit
Speaking after the result, Rohit said, “It doesn’t matter where you come from. What matters is how strongly you believe in where you want to go. I used to dream of a stethoscope around my neck while packing mobile covers. Now, that dream is closer than ever.”
🎓 From Fruit‑Chaat Seller to Assistant Professor: A Tale of Determination
Indore, June 12:
Tej Prakash Kushwaha, a 31-year-old from Bausadwa village, Rewa district (Madhya Pradesh), has achieved a remarkable milestone – securing the post of Assistant Professor of Geography after qualifying the MPPSC 2022 exam.
Born into a farming family, Tej overcame early academic setbacks – he even failed Class 8 – to pursue his BA and MA in Geography from Allahabad University. His aspiration to serve in civil services led him to Delhi, where he spent three years preparing for the UPSC exam.
In 2019, shifting his focus to MPPSC, he moved to Indore. Despite clearing several stages of the exam, he struggled with interview performance. Financially constrained,
Tej co-founded a small startup called PSC Falahaar, selling fruit chaat for just ₹20 per plate. With friends Thakur, Suraj, and Pradeep, he rose before dawn to prepare the chaat, later growing it from one stall to a multi-city enterprise across 14 states, eventually passing it on to groups of struggling students.
His efforts paid off: in 2023, he cracked UGC-NET, earning a Junior Research Fellowship to pursue a PhD at Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya. With the support of a mock-interview coaching group, Tej honed his communication and confidence, scoring an impressive 80 in the final MPPSC interview.
Today, Tej expresses heartfelt pride and gratitude to his humble roots – his father once labored in Pune, while his mother managed the household farm. Now stepping into academia, he eyes even greater heights: his dream is to climb the ranks to become a vice-chancellor one day.
🌳 Water Flowing from a Tree? – Pune Residents Stunned by the Mysterious Phenomenon
Pune, June 10:
A strange and surprising incident has come to light in Pune, Maharashtra. Residents were amazed to see clear water continuously gushing out of a tree, as if it were a natural fountain. At first glance, many believed it to be a miracle or a sign from God. Some even recorded the video and shared it on social media, where it quickly went viral.
What startled the people was that the water wasn’t just dripping due to moisture – it was visibly flowing out under pressure, which made the scene even more mysterious. While some looked at it spiritually, others demanded a scientific explanation.
🔍 Scientific Investigation Clears the Doubt:
After the video went viral, local municipal authorities arrived at the spot to investigate. What they discovered put all the confusion to rest: an old, damaged underground water pipeline was passing close to the tree’s roots. The leaking water from the pipeline found its way through the tree’s bark and base, creating the illusion that the water was emerging from the tree itself.
😊 Public Reaction:
Once the truth was revealed, people’s worries turned into laughter. Many took it in good humor and even joked, “It’s not a divine miracle, but a pipe leak trick!”
This incident not only amused people but also encouraged a wave of curiosity and scientific thinking on
